CD3 is the owner and manufacturer of the wildly popular Discgear line of CD storage solutions. The Selector 80S is a mid-level storage solution that has a sleek/modern design to complement home theatre systems. Using self-aligning slots and a patented disc retrieval system, the Selector 80S can hold 80 CDs/DVDs in an easy to use package.
 
Working with another industrial design firm to nail the aesthetics requirements, produktworks carried out all mechanical design of the Selector 80s. We provided the client with a full 3D CAD database and documentation that they could then send to their manufacturer. We also provided prototyping and tooling support during the developmental process.
