SkyVenture builds state-of-art skydiving simulators that allow people to experience the thrill of skydiving without having to ever jump out of a perfectly good plane. These multi-storey vertical wind tunnels use large fans to recirculate air through the flight chamber and provide enough wind speed to meet the training demands of professional skydiving teams. In the general public domain, SkyVenture wind tunnels provide a safe, fun and participative adventure for the whole family.
 
As part of a greater engineering team, produktworks was tasked to design the flight chamber and staging area for the latest 10R2 wind tunnel model. Using an existing model as a template, we had to scale the design to fit the 10R2 standard and specifications. We designed new entry/exit doors and all steel structures for the staging area and flight chamber.
